Hand-blended in house, this is a rich masala chai, or spiced tea; when mixed with milk, it transports you the lush landscapes of India. Our recipe uses a base of strong, single-estate Assam tea that balances perfectly with the spices of clove, cinnamon, cardamom and ginger. Many people like to sweeten it; others enjoy it plain, prepared as a traditional black tea.
